City Marine Leisure Facility
The Galway Harbour Company operates a 25 berth pontoon marina in the confines of Galway Harbour. An additional 12 berths are available along a 100 metre pontoon/walkway. Freshwater and electrical power is available at the pontoons. Power cards can be obtained from the harbour office, and also from Local Pubs ‘Sheridan's on the docks' & ‘Bar No.8' [both located on dock road]. A number of visitor pontoons are available for hire during the summer. Sailors intending of calling to Galway Harbour should first make contact with the Harbour Office [+353 91 561874] to determine if a berth is available. This is advisable as demand for berthage is high.

Small Craft Mooring Fees (Mono Hulls) in Galway along side the quay wall if available or rafted alongside another vessel are charged as follows:

There is a 50% surcharge for multi-hull craft.

Electricity units are located at the marina and are charged at 10kwh = €3 and 50kwh = €13 and cards can be purchased from the Harbour Office or at the pubs ‘Sheridan’s on the Docks’ or ‘Bar 8’. The above fee includes VAT

Any vessel laid up, abandoned in the harbour or vessels that have ceased trading will incur a weekly rate of €500.

Passenger Ferry Dues/Landing Craft/ Vessels in for repair will be levied at €1 per metre per day and with agreement of the Harbour Master
